De SchuppenBoer Tripel, but then aged in Belgian Owl whisky barrels.
They use their own SchuppenBoer as a basic beer, but the barrel maturation gives it a completely different character.
The slightly sweet attack of the Tripel remains, along with a moderate bitterness.
A well recognizable influence of the whisky barrels that beautifully leaves its mark.
A slightly woody touch and a small hint of vanilla along with the typical whisky taste.
The whisky is certainly not dominant, but nicely balanced. Yes, this is really good again!
