Black Damnation 11 Special Kay from the Struise Brouwers.
A brewery that is highly regarded in the beer world.
Their Black Damnation series is perhaps the most talked about series in our Belgian beer scene.
Eccentric and unique beers, each and every one of them.
This Black Damnation 11 Special Kay is another great outlier.
A collab with the American Portsmouth Brewery and also an IceBock.
Portsmouth’s Kate the Great Imperial Stout was blended with the Black Albert, then Icebocked the brew.
The result is a mud fat concentrate with an alcohol content of 22%!
Typically, this beer has no co2 and is slightly thicker in structure.
A very alcohol-warming effect, makes sense!
Full of flavour. Moderately sweet with a recognizable taste of port and raisins.
A unique and complex beer!
