I Wanna Brag About This Rum Barrel Aged Braggot.

A great collab between the Belgian The Blacksmith’s Meadery and Galea Craft Beer.

A Braggot with an alcohol content of 10%.

What is a Braggot? In fact, a Braggot is a mixture of both mead and beer. Consider it a beautiful marriage of both styles.

As a base, the mead from The Blacksmith’s Meadery and a full Stout from Galea were blended and matured in a Jamaican Rum cask.

You can therefore expect a complex beer with the recognizable taste of a full Stout in combination with a slightly woody touch, originating from the wooden rum barrels.

Slightly vanilla, honeyed and very soft for its character.

It is striking that there is little or no Co2 present.

This is quiet enjoyment…
