White Pony – Dark Matter Dimensions

Dark Matter Dimensions from the Italian White Pony microbrewery.

A fairly recent beer from our Italian “extreme” brewer.

It is extreme again, although this time I mean the reference to the higher alcohol content of 13.6% ABV.

Few beers from this brewery have a low alcohol content, I only know a few now that I think about it …

Dark Matter Dimensions was brewed with a large dose of malts, hops and of course enough sugar to boost the alcohol content.

The taste, according to the brewer, resembles a Stout and a Barley Wine, although I tend to go more towards Stout.

A rather sweet coffee stout with a slightly higher bitterness of which the bitterness lingers somewhat drier in the aftertaste.
