White Pony – AK47

AK47, a brand new brew from the Italian White Pony.

We know that their Molotov with its 19.1% alcohol content was already quite heavy.

But that this AK47 would take it a step further is quite stunning!

20% alcohol on the counter, which is quite high.

This pimped Barleywine aged in Bourbon barrels.

A fairly sweet attack, often typical of such heavy beers, with a slightly fruity taste of raisins.

A bit sticky mouthfeel due to its sweet character.

The Bourbon barrel maturation is subtle, certainly not predominant.

Despite his (extremely) high alcohol content, he is still relatively easy to drink.

So be careful!
