Tynt Meadow, the newest member of the Trappists.
This time a Trappist from England. Since September 2018 this beer has received its official Trappist logo, and Tynt Meadow became the 12th official Trappist beer in the world.
Since the name of the abbey (St Bernard) could not be used due to the rights to the name of the Belgian St. Bernard beers, it was decided to name the beer after the hill Tynt Meadow near the abbey where the history of the abbey began.
Tynt Meadow is a fairly dark beer, with striking flavors of chocolate, black and red fruits.
A herbal taste is also recognizable. Still a fairly full taste with a drier aftertaste.
