Limburg has gained a new brewery.

Brewery De HopHemel was recently founded at the end of 2020 by 2 passionate zythologists.

The beers are currently brewed at BRAUW in Genk.

Where our Belgian beer landscape is overloaded with blonde, brown and triple beers, they are always trying to bring innovative beers to the market.

Small batches with varying style and flavor profile.

The names of the beers are also in line with their concept and refer to one of the saints on the day the beer was brewed.

This Stephanos is a Russian Imperial Stout infused with ginger, chili peppers and coconut to give it an oriental Thai undertone.

The taste of roasted malts in combination with a light chocolate taste and a slightly higher bitterness.

The recognizable pepper provides a nice twist in the aftertaste.
