SchuppenBoer Maxima! No, not named after the wife of the Dutch King Willem-Alexander, but after the high alcohol content!

A brand new brew from brewery Het Nest. Ok, brand new is not entirely true, a few months ago we had already been introduced to the Maxima, although it was a barrel-aged version at the time. Those who drank him back then probably also remember that the label was predominantly black instead of white.

So a different beer, but still with the same alcohol content of a solid 14.9% ABV.

A strikingly sweet attack with a certain fruitiness. Because of the higher alcohol content, a certain sweet factor lingers, which ensures that the alcohol content remains very well hidden.

Better be careful with that Maxima …..
