SchuppenBoer Grand Cru Brandy barrel aged.

A new edition of their SchuppenBoer Grand Cru, this time matured in Brandy barrels. Last year they released the same variant, but on cognac barrels.

Their standard SchuppenBoer Grand Cru was also used here as the base beer.

The color is clear amber, the head is medium to small.

A sweet attack is typical, in combination with some fruity notes and a slightly alcoholic influence from the Brandy barrels.

The barrel ripening comes through subtly and the aftertaste is rather sweet and a bit sticky.
