Rochefort 6

Rochefort 6 of the Trappist monastery Abbaye Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy, better known as the Trappist monastery of Rochefort.

Until recently this Rochefort 6 belonged to the holy trinity of Rochefort, who recently received the Rochefort Triple.

As one of the 6 official authentic Belgian Trappists, Rochefort stands for quality.

Rochefort 6 is immediately their lightest variant in their series.

With only 7.5% alcohol and a light brown / amber color, it cannot be compared to its dark brothers de Rochefort 8 and de Rochefort 10.

The taste is slightly fruity, has a hint of caramel and a characteristic taste of bread / yeast. A moderately bitter aftertaste is typical.
