Retrorik Rouge

Retrorik Rouge from brewery De Meester from Harelbeke.

A Porter that has matured in red wine barrels for no less than 6 months.

This long barrel aging gives the beer a nice influence from the red wine. The taste of red wine in combination with a light woody touch comes into its own and creates a light acidity that rather remains in the background, in the aftertaste.

Due to its sweet character, the higher alcohol content of 12% ABV is well hidden.

A very tasty Porter!
