Monte Cristo

Monte Cristo from the Bosteels brewery, certainly known for its Tripel Karmeliet, Kwak and Deus beers.

This Monte Cristo is their last, but certainly not their least, creation.

Comparable to a Tripel Karmeliet or a Kwak? No, certainly not. This beer is of a completely different level.

This beer with its very complex flavor was aged for 11 weeks in oak sherry casks.

The taste that goes with this is unique.

What starts with a slightly caramel sweet start, quickly changes to a full-bodied, complex taste of the wood tannins, vanilla and I even taste a light coconut / nougat flavor.

The whole is pleasantly soft to drink.

Turn off that TV, put your legs on the table, make it cozy and let its taste surprise you. Enjoy this moment ...
