Mok Master from brewery De Meester from Harelbeke.
An Imperial Stout that has matured in Gouden Carolus Single Malt Whiskey barrels for no less than 6 months.
Chocolate, coffee and vanilla were also added during the brewing process and the use of oats and wheat flakes gives the whole a slightly fuller character.
The result is impressive! A moderately sweet Stout with a distinctive coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla flavor.
The whole is slightly fuller and slightly creamy.
The whiskey barrel maturation comes through nicely and brings the whole nicely into balance.
A tasty Imperial Stout with an alcohol content of 13%!
