Modus Operandi by The Wild Beer Co from Somerset.

Despite Brexit, we can still get some special beers from the UK to Belgium.

And when I say special, it really falls into this category.

Modus Operandi is a masterpiece that has been aging on oak barrels for 90 days.

An English Old Ale as a basic beer to which wild yeasts were added at a later stage.

The result is a complex beer that is very close to a Flemisch Old Brown.

Cherry fruity, woody in combination with the typical taste of old brown.

A striking, but pleasant acidity in combination with a slightly sweet factor.

Complex!
