Legio IV

Legio IV by Antwerp Galea Craft Beers.

Another successor in the Legio series, number 4 this time.

This time something completely different from the previous beers in this series, namely a barrel aged fruited sour.

A fruited sour with 80% blackcurrant and 20% plum juice.

Afterwards, it was matured for no less than 16 months in French red wine barrels.

Fruity in a way with a nice influence of red wine.

Slightly woody in combination with a pleasant acidity.

The whole is nicely balanced.

Complex and very tasteful!
