Freud Sap! A new beer from DOK Brewing from Ghent.
A Belgian brewery that, in my opinion, is far ahead in terms of experimental new beers. Certainly something I can only encourage.
Freud Sap, the name suggests, a beer with a fruity taste.
This New England IPA was brewed with Talus, Nelson Sauvin and Ekuanot hops and with the addition of oats and rye.
The use of oats and rye gives it a slightly fuller, juicy body.
The hops used in turn give the whole an exotic fruity character that is pleasantly soft to drink.
A typical hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
