Founders – Bottleshop Series: Highball Drifter

Bottleshop Series: Highball Drifter from the American top brewery with name and fame: Founders.

Known for their rock solid stouts, porters, barrel aged beers and IPAs.

Belonging to the Bottleshop series, including the Nemesis that we offer in our own bottleshop.

Like the Velvet Rush, Highball Drifter is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Brown Ale with a certain influence of Bourbon barrel ageing.

The taste is completely different from the Velvet Rush.

Moderately sweet at the start with recognizable vanilla and also a high Pim’s biscuit content. Also reminds me of those tangerine pieces with dark chocolate around.

At first a strange beer, but surprisingly it tastes good!
