Fantôme – Coffee Ruby

Fantôme, an artisan brewery from the heart of the Ardennes. A small brewery, but with great beers that are appreciated in all corners of the world.

It is therefore not surprising that Fantôme stands for real Belgian quality.

All specialty beers, with an emphasis on special. The brewer is known for its Saison style beers.

Coffee Ruby is a previous brew. The color of this batch is much darker than previous times. The label also states “very bitter taste”, so that gives high expectations.

The color is dark with a sticky foam head.

A typical taste of roasted malts, but also a light spiciness and a recognizable coffee bitterness in the aftertaste.

The taste is indeed bitter, but by no means excessive.

A “coffee” Saison, as it were ….
