El Dorado from Enigma, not a DIPA but a TIPA (Tripel IPA)!
This is well excepted with an alcohol content of 10% ABV.
Previously existed in bottles, but now also available in cans! Mark always knows how to make his cans looks nicely, this El Dorado also has an inviting label.
Legend has it that El Dorado, “The Golden Man” covered his body with gold dust and offered treasures to the gods in the middle of a sacred lake.
The name of the beer here is rather a reference to the hops used: Hallertau Blanc, Mosaic, Citra, Azzaca and of course El Dorado hops.
The taste is fruity, rather pineapple and apricots in combination with a certain sweet factor.
This camouflages the relatively higher alcohol content and ensures that this triple IPA is still easy to drink.
Note: this series belongs to the 2nd batch and is slightly less sweet than the first batch. Due to a misunderstanding, the labels of the 1st batch were also put on the 2nd batch. The expiry date is therefore not up-to-date and the beer is good for a longer period!
