Again a limited edition of the Dead man’s hand from brewery het Nest.
A beer with a nice reference to the legend of Wild Bill.
As a base beer, they use their Russian Imperial Stout Dead Man’s hand.
They then have this version matured again in Belgian Owl whiskey barrels, which again gives an exceptional taste.
The typical flavors of an Imperial Stout where the roasted malt and chocolate in combination with yet a sweet attack.
Candy sweet, even the taste of liquorice and a very light smoked taste are noticeable.
The woody touch of the oak whiskey barrels and the present, but certainly not predominant influence of the whiskey come through in the aftertaste.
Full of flavor with a light (coffee) bitterness in the aftertaste.
