The perfect mix between beer and champagne? That must certainly be the Dame Jeanne Brut d’Anvers!
The champagne yeast used gives this beer a nice sparkling character and is very suitable as an aperitif.
The base beer was Brut d’Anvers, with a certain amount of cognac added.
It is therefore not the case that this beer has matured in cognac barrels.
In 2014, the Brut d’Anvers was also voted best brut beer at the international beer competition Brussels Beer Challenge!
Put that bottle of champagne aside, this year there will be a brut beer on the table!
