Cardeña Quadrupel

Cardeña Quadrupel, a Spanish Trappist beer from the Monasterio San Pedro de Cardeña.

The monastery itself is a member of the International Trappist Association, but the beer is not allowed to carry the authentic Trappist logo.

The reason for this is that the beer itself is not brewed in the monastery.

A bit similar to the French Trappist beer Mont des cats.

This Quadrupel has a malt-sweet attack in combination with the taste of roasted and roasted malt.
