Beer with the sour taste of red fruit and subtle almond notes.
The used sour cherries have a organic certificate and come from Turkey.
The fruit is mixed with Lambic, which is on average 20 months old.
After an effect of two to three months, the Lambic has removed the color, the aromas and the taste from the morels. They then mix it with one-year-old Lambic, which provides the sugars needed for the second fermentation in the bottle.
The fruity character of the kriek is best appreciated when you drink it young.
The Lambic will get the upper hand over the years.
