Black Damnation, already famous beers of the Struise Brouwers.
As a basic beer, the Black Albert was used in a different way each time to create a new beer.
S.H.I.T. which stands for “Supreme Hoppy Intensive Taste” is a mixture of the Black Albert Imperial Stout and the Elliot Brew IPA, which is a bold choice in itself.
A Stout and an IPA, do they go together? Struise managed to do it anyway. They even have this S.H.I.T. mature in Bourbon barrels.
Remarkably little co2 on the beer, which means that it also has a minimal head.
Hoppy and bitter with a sweetness.
The taste of roasted malt in combination with a light coffee taste.
The Bourbon barrel maturation is rather in the background.
