Witherfall Shadows [Ghost 1220] from Adroit Theory, an American brewery based in Washington DC.

A brewery that is highly regarded in the Craftbeer scene. Loved for their strong IPAs, but also their other beer styles are certainly popular.

This time a Black IPA, something you come across a little less often, certainly one with an alcohol content of 10.5%.

The taste of roasted malts, weak black coffee in combination with a hoppy character with a certain bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste.
